SEASONAL FRUIT & VEGETABLE POSTER - CHIPBOARD

  • 13" x 19" foil pressed with Gold, tint, and white foil

  • Chipboard is a product we used in architecture school to build models. It is often referred to as “kraft” or “natural” because of it’s recycled content there are inflections of color and recycled content in this textured cardstock.

  • .0035” thick recycled chipboard

The seasonal fruit and vegetable poster features a monthly list of 15-20 varieties of produce that are freshest, ripest, and harvested within the listed month.  These are the fruits and veggies found each month at a farmers market and are more likely to be locally grown and freshly harvested. The data is based of a central Californian climate / latitude 38 / coastal mediterranean climate.  We are indebted to Toby of Free Spirit Farms for his farmer knowledge in producing the lists.

SEAFOOD & SHELLFISH POSTER - CHIPBOARD

  • 13" x 19" foil pressed with Gold, White & tint foils

  • Recycled chipboard

  • .0035” thick coverstock

The Seasonal Seafood & Shellfish poster features a monthly list of species of fish and shellfish commercially available each month in the US Pacific Waters.  The seasonality of seafood listed is based on the legal Commercial fishing seasons. The data was collected and vetted with the generous help of the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch program.  Together we aim to promote fish species that are both sustainably harvested, (not depleted, not endangered, controlled & regulated methods of catch / sustainable farming) and diverse. When you purchase seafood in season it is more likely to be caught by your local fisherman, fresher, and responsibly harvested.  #eatfresh #knowyourlocalfisherman

CALIFORNIA NATIVE WILDFLOWERS - CHIPBOARD

  • 13" x 19" foil pressed with gold, tint & white foil

  • .035” thick chipboard - natural kraft recycled paper

  • Due to the recycled nature of chipboard this material has texture, varies in color slightly from batch to batch, and has little specs / inflections of color or recycled matter.

The California Native Wildflower Poster features 150 native species as they bloom each month.   The poster features both prolific, common and rare species that are native specifically to the Central Coast / Bay Area.  Approximate radius of the listed species is centered on San Francisco, extending North through Marin County, South through Santa Cruz County and Diablo Mountain as the eastern border.  Many of these species are found up and down the length of the west coast.

Some species listed are rare, endangered, or poisonous.  For example the Tiburon Mariposa Lily, Calochortus tiburonensis, is a listed threatened species, endemic to California and only seen on one NE facing hill in Tiburon, California. We heavily relied on the Calflora database to produce the data on this poster.

We apologize but due to the laborious design and printing process, we cannot fulfill requests for custom wildflower zones.
